Performance Opportunities

We offer our students many performing opportunities, including our twice yearly Recitals and our Student Showcase Concert. We also actively facilitate our students' participation in outside performances and competitions, such as the Society of American Musicians competition, the National Association of Teachers of Singing Competitions, along with several area youth theater programs and local high school variety shows.

Student Showcase Concert

Our Student Showcase concerts are a great opportunity for vocal and instrumental students who are focusing on pop and rock music. Past venues for these concerts include Durty Nellies, Grandpa's Place, and the main stage at Northbrook Days

Spring Recitals

These are our “traditional” recitals, which focus on solo performances. We also encourage small ensembles such as string trios and quartets, or classical guitar ensembles, to participate.

Please talk to your instructors about participating in these programs. If you have any questions call us at 847 205 4689 or email info@laughlinschool.com.
