How do I register for lessons/classes?
To register for lessons or classes simply give us a call at 847 205 4689. If we can't answer your call leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also submit our contact information form and we will contact you by your preferred method.
How is billing and payment handled?
We bill for private lessons by semester. Each semester is 19 or 20 weeks long. You may use any of the following payment options:
What do I do if I need to discontinue lessons?
You may, at any time, discontinue private lessons with no penalty. If you decide that you no longer wish to take private lessons just give us a call and we will take you off the schedule. If you have prepaid for lessons that you will not be taking, we will give you a full refund for all those lessons not taken or cancelled with 24 hours notice.
What do I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Students are expected to attend all lessons and classes for which they are registered. Notification of a lesson cancellation by the student is a courtesy to the teacher but does not excuse payment for the lesson. An excused absence may be rescheduled at the teacher’s discretion. To be eligible for an excused absence, the student must contact the teacher directly at least 24 hours in advance. Students are entitled to only one make-up per semester due to an excused absence. Make-ups must be completed within the semester and may not carry over into a new semester. Unexcused absences will not be made up. If, however, the teacher cancels a lesson for any reason, the lesson will be made up, a substitute will be provided, or your account will be credited.
What if I suffer an extended illness or injury, and must miss several weeks of lessons. Can I hold my lesson time?
In some circumstances we will allow a student to take a medical leave and hold his or her lesson time while he or she recovers. These situations are handled on a case by case basis and are decided solely by the school's director. You may call us at 847 205 4689, or e-mail email@example.com for more information.
What can I do if I am no longer able to make my regular lesson time?
If your scheduling needs change and you are no longer able to make your regular lesson time, call the office at 847 205 4689 so we can help you. We will either try to move you to another open spot on the schedule, or give you the option of dropping lessons altogether if we can't find a time that is good for you.
