1) The academic year will be divided into two semesters:
Semester 1, August 30 – January 29, 20 weeks.
Semester 2, January 31 – June 18, 19 weeks.
2) To register for lessons or classes call 847-205-4689 or click here.
3) A $30 per family annual administrative fee will be taken at registration. You only need to register once for the entire year. Prior to each semester a bill will be generated on your account for the full semester’s tuition. That amount will be your balance due.
4) You may select one of the following options for paying your tuition:
a) Sign up for Automatic Billing through PayPal. Each month an automatic payment will be made equaling the cost of four lessons or classes (if you are taking one 30-minute lesson per week at $29, your monthly payment would be $116). There is no added cost for this service. The amount of the final payment each semester will be adjusted according to the balance due on your account (see #8 below). A PayPal account is not required; you may use a debit or credit card entered through Paypal's system.
b) If you do not wish to sign up for automatic billing, you may pay the full semester’s tuition by cash, check, or credit card prior to the start of the semester. If you wish to pay your balance in two installments, the first 50% of the tuition will be due prior to the start of the semester, along with a $10 service fee. The remaining 50% tuition will be due on the 8th week of the semester.
5) Students may discontinue lessons at any time with no penalty (see #9 below).
6) Students may cancel up to two lessons per semester, with 24 hours notice, and receive full credit for each cancellation. Additional cancellations will be allowed for religious observance, with 24 hours notice. Credits will not be issued for same-day cancellations, no-shows, or for lessons cancelled after the two-cancellation limit has been reached, even in the case of illness or emergency. Make-up lessons may be requested, but are at the sole discretion of the instructor and are not guaranteed.
7) Each month you will receive a statement by e-mail showing all activity on your account, including credits and new charges, and an updated balance.
8) For families using Automatic Billing, the amount of the last payment for the semester will be adjusted to pay off the remaining balance on your account. In most case the final payment will be lower than the normal monthly payment. Any account activity after the last payment is received will carry over to the next semester’s billing. If you are not continuing lessons then any balances in your favor will be refunded to you.
9) If you choose to discontinue lessons before the end of the semester all of the lessons you will not be taking will be deducted from your bill. We will then settle your account either by issuing a refund if the balance on your account is in your favor, or by collecting a final payment if you have a remaining balance due.
10) Information on registering for summer lessons will be available in the spring.
