Billing policies, 2011 – 2012

Private lesson rates/additional family member rates:
30 minutes - $30/$29
45 minutes - $44.50/$43.50
60 minutes - $58/$57

Semi-private lesson rates, per person:
45 minutes - $23.50
60 minutes - $31

Classes - ensembles, per person per class:
$18.00 (registration for the full semester required)

1)    The academic year will be divided into two semesters:
Semester 1, August 29 – January 21, 20 weeks.
No classes on September 3 - 5, November 23 - 26, December 24 - January 2.
Semester 2, January 23 – June 16, 20 weeks.
No classes March 26 - 31, May 26-28

3)    A $20 per family annual registration fee will be charged at registration. You only need to register once for the entire year. Invoices will be sent by e-mail. Payment may be made in full, or divided into two installments at no extra charge. Only cash or checks will be accepted for payment.

4)    Students may discontinue lessons at any time with no penalty (see #7 below).

5)     Students may cancel up to two lessons per semester, with 24 hours notice, and receive full credit for each cancellation. Additional cancellations will be allowed for religious observance, with 24 hours notice. Credits will not be issued for same-day cancellations, no-shows, or for lessons cancelled after the two-cancellation limit has been reached, even in the case of illness or emergency. Make-up lessons may be requested, but are at the sole discretion of the instructor and are not guaranteed. If, at the end of the semester you have a refund due to you as a result of excused student cancellations or teacher cancellations, we will apply the refund to your next semester's tuition, or issue you a refund check if you prefer.

6)    Twice each semester you will receive a statement by e-mail showing all activity on your account, including credits and new charges, and an updated balance.

7)    If you choose to discontinue lessons before the end of the semester all of the lessons you will not be taking will be deducted from your bill. We will then settle your account either by issuing a refund if the balance on your account is in your favor, or by collecting a final payment if you have a remaining balance due.

8)   Information on registering for summer lessons will be available in the spring.
